Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation

Established in 1983 (1403 AH) under the name of a charitable committee through which Sheikh Sulaiman Al Rajhi carried out his philanthropic contributions, the foundation later evolved in 1415 AH into an office for charitable activities. It subsequently received its official license from the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, becoming a private grant-making foundation.

The foundation provides grants to charitable organizations and associations in accordance with regulations and under the administrative, financial, and technical oversight of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development.

According to its founding bylaws, the Waqf is recognized as the founder and primary benefactor of the foundation.

The foundation focuses its efforts on supporting charitable associations and non-profit institutions within the Kingdom, covering various fields such as education, social development, healthcare, religious and media activities, mosque construction, and other diverse charitable and developmental initiatives. Over the years, numerous independent charitable organizations have emerged and grown from its initiatives.

Some initiatives are implemented through its subsidiary arm, Quality Projects Company, which is fully owned by the foundation and oversees three affiliated entities

  • Manahij International Foundation: An educational institution specialized in developing school curricula, educational software, and learning materials.
  • Beit Al-Khebra Center for Social Studies: A national expertise center dedicated to building and enhancing the capabilities of family systems to meet beneficiaries’ needs and strengthen family development.
  • Ataat Al-Elm Company Ltd.: A company focused on advancing Islamic scholarly knowledge, supporting scholarly environments and professionals, and promoting and preserving Islamic identity.
