Manahij International honored with the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language Award under the patronage of His Highness the Minister of Culture

Manahij International has been awarded the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language Prize in its fourth edition, under the category of Teaching and Learning Arabic (Institutions). The award was presented under the patronage of His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language. The honor was received by Dr. Ibrahim bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Waqf.

Manahij International is one of the key initiatives and distinguished projects of the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation, a major entity within the Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Waqf. The institution won the award out of more than 190 applicants in this cycle, reflecting its academic excellence and professional distinction in the field of teaching and promoting the Arabic language globally.

This recognition comes as an appreciation of the institution’s efforts in advancing Arabic language education through a comprehensive reference framework, diverse curricula for early learning and non-native speakers, enrichment resources, story series, and its notable publication “The Reference in Teaching Arabic: Modern Approaches and Methods.” Manahij has also contributed to training teachers and leveraging modern technologies, educational games, and digital platforms—leading to the widespread adoption of its curricula and educational tools in more than 166 countries worldwide.

Manahij International affirms that this honor strengthens its mission that “the Arabic language brings the world together,” and supports its role in building an aware generation connected to its language and identity. It also reflects the ongoing contributions of the Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Waqf and the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation in serving the Arabic language and enhancing its presence regionally and globally.

The award ceremony took place on Sunday, 9 Jumada Al-Akhirah 1447 AH, corresponding to 30 November 2025, in Riyadh, where Manahij International was recognized among a distinguished group of institutions and individuals contributing to the service of the Arabic language.
