First: Policy Statement

The following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them wherever they appear in this Policy, unless the context requires otherwise:

The Waqf: Waqf Sulaiman Bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi, represented by its General Secretariat.

The Website: The Waqf’s official website at the domain waqfsr.org.sa and its subdomains.

The Visitor: Any person who visits the Website or uses any of its electronic services.

Personal Data: Any data — whatever its source or form — that would lead to the identification of an individual specifically, or that makes it possible to identify them directly or indirectly.

  1. The Waqf applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration; including encryption of connections via HTTPS.
  2. Access to data is restricted to authorized employees only, and to the extent required by their job duties.
  3. Website data is hosted within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is not transferred outside the Kingdom except in accordance with the approved regulatory requirements.
  4. The Waqf shall retain data in accordance with the retention periods specified in the Waqf’s approved Data Retention Policy, or as otherwise required by applicable laws and regulations. Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, the data shall be securely deleted or destroyed.
  5. In the event of a personal data breach, unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or alteration of personal data, the Waqf shall promptly implement the necessary technical and organizational measures to contain the incident, assess its impact, take appropriate corrective actions, and notify the competent authority and affected data subjects where required under applicable laws and regulations.

Eighth: Data Subjects’ Rights

Data subjects shall have the right to the following:

  1. To be informed of the legal basis for collecting their personal data and the purpose of its processing.
  2. To request access to their personal data held by the Waqf and obtain a copy of it in a clear and readable format.

Ninth: Cookies
